Creative Spotlight: Danielle Jordan
Designer Danielle Jordan is a recent graduate from Fashion at the Limerick School of Art and Design. Originally from Clondalkin, she went back to study as a mature student when she was 24.
Her work takes in a variety of influences, but there’s no doubt a large part of her influence stems from wearbable technology and futuristic fashion.
Her collection Rewired, was inspired by the story of US marine Claudia Mitchell who lost her arm in a motorbike accident and had nerves transplanted from her arm to her chest. Danielle wanted to reimagine this and take a closer look at technology and biology working together as one.
